WEB (Onaf) is a playful non-verbal school and family performance (5+) that seeks connection and sparks the imagination.

The performance starts from a very recognizable object, an elastic band, and combines everyday movements with the abstract and the acrobatic. On stage, four dancers are connected by elastic bands. They are stuck together and cannot move. A game of stretching, pulling, and sometimes letting go ensues. The dancers become frustrated by the restrictions the elastic bands place on their freedom of movement. However, when they look at the situation with a fresh perspective, they see possibilities. While the elastic bands initially seemed primarily limiting, they gradually discover together that they might also enable many new things.

The imagination of both performers and audience is appealed to. The characters interact with the elastic bands, which come to life through their imagination. Throughout the performance, the meaning of the elastic bands changes. Thus, the dancers suddenly find themselves in a gigantic boxing ring where a dramatic fight ensues. A little later, the team transforms into a real rock band playing guitar on bright yellow elastic strings. Someone is catapulted from left to right, someone else from front to back. When the elastics hang in a tangled mess, the dancers suddenly become part of a dangerous burglary where they must dodge laser beams.

By letting their imagination run wild, a literal web of meanings and connections emerges. A web of possibilities.
