In 1963 riep Fluxus-kunstenaar Robert Filliou zijn verjaardag uit tot de officiële geboortedag van de ‘kunst’. Dit statement in een Parijse bar groeide uit tot diverse Art’s Birthday-feesten wereldwijd.
