‘Act 7.’ is the last version of the original performance with the title ‘Act 5.’ presented by Agnes Nagygyorgy and Freija Van Esbroeck in 2010. Two chairs, two women and the act of sewing form the starting point of ‘Act 7’. Sewing, attaching irreversibly, making two into one are the main theme of this long, slow act. A freestanding, autonomous sculpture is created by the bodies and actions of the two artists during the performance.
